LEADERSHIP “Camp 2010”

LEADERSHIP “Camp 2010” will be held at CAMP RICHARDSON RESORT. Camp Richardson is located at an elevation of 6700 feet. The camp is located just off I-50 in the beautiful South Lake Tahoe (California Side). Camp Richardson is a 4 Star resort with year round services for all outdoor activities but accommodates semi-private and private modern sleeping quarters. It is a full service resort, which offers a vast assortment of programs, from mountain biking to sailing on the beautiful Lake Tahoe, canoeing and kayaking.  During the fall and spring, the days are warm and the evenings cool. During the summer months, it is warm and although it is usually 10-15 degrees cooler than Sacramento. Of course in the mountains, weather can vary.

1.       Leadership “Camp 2010” will be host to a number of well-respected instructors.  The camp will be hosted by United World Taekwondo Association. Robinson’s Taekwondo. Master Willie Rankins will serve as the activity/program director.  Additional masters, will be instructing.

2.       Camp Dates: Camp dates are September 17th through September 19th, 2010. Check-ins will begin on Friday, September 17th; 3:00 PM thru 6pm. Checkout will be on Sunday, September 19th, at 12:00 noon, after lunch. No early check-ins without prior approval.

3.       Program: To provide a quality program the classes will be divided by having both senior and junior workouts.  The program can be dedicated to the needs of each class.  This will also allow instructors the opportunity to teach both beginners and more advanced students more effectively.

4.       Additional Activities:  Campers may participate in mountain hikes, fishing, lake trips and evening programs during camp.  There are basketball courts, playing fields, and volleyball area. Etc. Movies. Organized nature activities and games will be offered during free time.

5.       Accommodations: During Leadership “Camp 2010”, room and board will be provided.  The cabins have bathroom facilities with showers, sinks, microwave, ovens, refrigerators and toilets and heating system. The instructors and staff will have a separate cabin. The rooms are multiple occupancy. 

6.       Meals:  Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be furnished.  Meals will be served cafeteria style.  Anyone with diet restrictions should bring appropriate food.  The first meal will be dinner on Friday, September 17th and the last meal served will be lunch on Sunday, September 19th, 2010.

7.       Camp Fees:  $350.00 will cover room and board and all training activitiesA Non-refundable deposit is required to guarantee a camper spot.  Due to rental conditions your deposit is non-refundable but transferable. All will receive a beautiful camp t-shirt and a beautiful frameable Camp Certificate.  All applications received will be witnessed, dated and time stamped.

8.       Balance of camp fee is due by September 10thth, 2010.

9.        Late Camp Registration: after August 30th, 2010 is an additional $70.00, non-refundable.

10.   Camp Rules:  For the safety of all campers no dogs, cats or other domestic animals will be permitted. Alcohol is not permitted on campus. Tobacco use on campus is also prohibited.

LEADERSHIP “Camp 2010”

·        Uniforms:  One Martial Arts uniform will be all you need. Workouts will be performed in sweats or shorts, or other comfortable clothing.

·        Equipment & Clothing:  You do have to bring a sleeping bag.  The weather may be cold in the mornings and evenings.  A list of recommended clothing and equipment is as follows:

Plan A, Deposit $175 by July 31st (Non-refundable but transferable), and final payment due before Sept.10th, 2010. After Sept 10th add $70.

Plan B, Deposit $150 before August 6th (Non-refundable but transferable), and two additional payments of $100 each. Final payment due before Sept 10th,2010. After Sept 10th add $70.

All campers will receive a beautiful camp certificate.

In exchange for the privilege of participating in this event and in consideration of the event sponsor accepting this application,  I and my family agree to waive any legal claim against Camp Richardson Resort,  Robinsons’ Taekwondo “Leadership Camp 2010” promoters, the sponsors of this event, and those associated with ROBINSONS’ TAEKWONDO, United World Taekwondo Association, Leadership Camp 2010, Camp Richardson Resort, and the sponsor if I am injured while participating in this event, or while traveling to or from the event site by public, private or other means of conveyance.  By signing this release I represent that I am in good physical condition and I am not aware of any disease or injury that would result in my being injured during any participation in this event.

Further, I acknowledge that I am familiar with the sport and understand the rules governing the sport and the importance of following the rules.  I agree that if I believe anything is unsafe or beyond my capability I will immediately advise my coach or supervisor of such condition(s) and refuse to participate.

I acknowledge and fully understand that I will be engaging in a contact sport that might result in serious injury. Further, I acknowledge that there may be other risks not known to me or not reasonably foreseeable at this time. Knowing the risks involved in the sport, I voluntarily assume the risk and accept personal responsibility for the damages following such injury.
