The UWTA recognizes and allows it's member schools to practice either the Kukkiwon TaeGeuk or ITF Chang Han Ryu forms systems. Member schools can use either form system.
The UWTA also offer a complete self-defense curriculum that is delivered to the students at each belt level. This covers basic blocking and countering; joint locks, manipulation and takedowns; bladed and blunt weapons self defense; and advanced free fighting which includes, practical self defense, point sparring, Olympic style sparring and street fighting techniques.
The UWTA operates three separate training environments designed to provide the highest quality instructors in the martial arts.
- Junior Leadership programs for children ages 10-15
- Trainee instructor programs for ages 16-18 and
- Certified Instructor Programs for ages 18 and above.
The UWTA also offers instructor and student certification in programs such as:
