THE UWTA LOGO

The UWTA logo was designed to represent the association. It is a symbol of the
unified purpose of the UWTA and was originally designed by Susan White.
Following is a breakdown of that symbolism:

"United World" is directed at global participation in TaeKwonDo. It is a title that stands for oneness, community, and peace through cooperation. "United World" aims at sharing the TaeKwonDo philosophy across the continents with people of all nations. This symbol brings power to the purpose of people working together as one.

The Golden Circle (golden border) represents the light of inspiration, intelligence,
 and spiritual radiance.
The Red and Blue Swirling Circle is based on the Yin Yang symbol found on
the Korean flag. This is a pattern of continuous, flowing balance. The red (yang) energy
is always accompanied, followed and supported by the blue (yin) energy and likewise.
Strength is balanced by receptivity; power balanced with understanding;

aggression balanced with compassion.
